New Car Discounts

In the market for a new car, and an SBC employee? SBC is considered a parts supplier to the Big Three automakers. We provide not only phone service, but systems and other telecommunications equipment as well. As an employee at SBC, you may be eligible for one of two plans available to purchase vehicles at a discount. We have plans with Ford, Chrysler and General Motors.

FORD MOTOR COMPANY PLAN
Fleet Customer Recognition Plan (X-Plan)

1. Obtain a Fleet Identification Number (FIN) which is UH033.
2. Log on to www.fordpartner.com, or call 1-800-XPLAN-00.
3. Provide your FIN, Social Security Number, name, address, city, state and zip code to obtain a Personal Identification Number (PIN).
4. Visit a participating dealer and identify yourself as a Fleet Customer Recognition participant.
5. Provide the dealer with your Social Security Number and Personal Identification Number (PIN) to confirm eligibility.
6. Select an eligible vehicle.
7. Provide proof of employemnt through recent pay stub, Company ID badge, or W-2.
8. Arrange for delivery.
9. The price is A-Plan price plus 4%.
10. The plan is available to employees, spouces, and retirees.

GENERAL MOTORS PLAN
GM Supplier Discount Program

1. Obtain a SWB Company code -- 844284.
2. Log on to www.gmsupplierdiscount.com, or call 1-800-960-3375.
3. Submit your name, Social Security number, home address and phone number to obtain a personal authorization number. Be sure to obtain your personal authorization number before you go to the dealer.
4. GM Program Headquarters validates your employee information and issues a personal authorization number.
5. Determine a participating dealer.
6. Take the GM personal authorization number with you to the dealer to confirm eligibility.
7. Arrange for vehicle desired.
8. The price is GMS price plus 4.5%. (GMS price = sticker price)
9. The plan is available to active employees only.

DIAMLER-CHRYSLER AFFILIATE REWARDS PROGRAM
(as of October 2003)

1. Our company code is F08134.
2. Log on to www.dc-rewards.com.
3. Or call 1-888-444-4321.
4. You will receive a unique control number(s).
5. Take the control number, along with a company photo ID or recent original pay check stub to any participating US Chrysler, Jeep or Dodge dealership.
6. You will receive the preferred price of 1% below factory invoice.
7. If you spouse is the intended buyer/lesee, then proof of marriage or similar documentation verifying the relationship must be provided.
8. You can purchase a total of two vehicles per calendar year.
9. Dodge Viper, Dodge SRT-4, Dodge Sprinter, Chrysler Crossfire and all Mercedes-Benz vehicles are NOT eligible for this program.
